Introducing the NEW 4” Liner RatGate – Designed for Lined Drainpipes
We're excited to introduce the latest addition to the RatGate range: the 4” Liner RatGate, specifically developed for drainage pipes that have undergone lining.
The new device offers the same effective rodent prevention as our standard 4” RatGate, but with a slightly smaller diameter to accommodate pipes where lining has reduced the internal space available.
Why Have We Developed a Liner RatGate?
Lining is a common method of repairing damaged drainage pipes without needing to excavate and replace entire sections of pipe.
However, installing a liner reduces the internal diameter of the pipe, which can make fitting a standard RatGate device difficult or impossible.
Our standard 4” RatGate is designed for pipes with an internal diameter of 100mm. The new 4” Liner RatGate is designed for pipes with a reduced internal diameter of 95mm, allowing effective rodent prevention in suitable lined drainage systems.
The Same Proven RatGate Design
Although slightly smaller, the new Liner RatGate retains all the key features of our standard device.
Manufactured in Sheffield from high-grade stainless steel, it features a one-way flap that allows water and waste to flow freely while preventing rats from travelling back up the pipe.
It also incorporates our patented liftable flap mechanism, allowing drainage engineers to carry out CCTV inspections, rodding and jetting without removing the device.
